What To Expect In Mediation
Private Intake Meetings – We meet with each person individually to understand concerns and ensure mediation is the right fit.
Flexible & Personalized Mediation Sessions – We bring people together in a way that feels comfortable and safe. Some families prefer to meet in the same room, while others benefit from meeting separately with the mediator moving between them (sometimes called “shuttle mediation”). Whichever personalized approach works best for you, the goal is the same: respectful discussions, exploring options, and working toward solutions everyone can accept.
Mediation Summary Report – You’ll receive a written summary of your discussions and any understandings reached. This document can be shared with your lawyer, who can prepare or a formal agreement for finalization.
Optional Draft Agreement – For an additional fee, we can prepare a draft agreement based on the Mediation Summary Report. This draft can then be taken to your lawyer for independent legal advice and finalization.
